About this role
GuidePoint Security seeks a Forescout Cyber Security Engineer to support federal government clients by designing and managing advanced cybersecurity infrastructure, including network detection and vulnerability assessment capabilities. This role combines presales engineering expertise with hands-on deployment and maintenance of Forescout solutions for Fortune 500 companies and U.S. government agencies.
What you'll do
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Forescout CounterACT appliances in enterprise environments
- Design and architect IP networks including data centers, WANs, and LANs in virtualized environments
- Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments across network, system, and application domains
- Manage infrastructure and security controls with enhanced detection and event correlation capabilities
- Communicate complex security concepts to senior management and diverse stakeholder audiences
- Perform Tier II IT operations support including ticket resolution and remediation
