About this role
Hadrian seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to perform design-for-manufacturability analyses on aerospace and defense components, develop cost proposals, and bridge customer designs with autonomous factory capabilities. You'll optimize part designs for production while collaborating with sales and operations to refine Hadrian's manufacturing software and processes.
What you'll do
- Conduct DFM analyses using internal tools to evaluate design compatibility and recommend cost/quality optimizations
- Generate costing models and customer-facing proposals based on part specifications
- Partner with internal teams to develop and implement software and manufacturing solutions
- Monitor factory performance and quality metrics to improve software and process alignment
- Analyze industry data and market trends to inform automation technology decisions
- Apply materials, finishes, and manufacturing expertise to evaluate designs for production viability
