About this role
Hadrian seeks a Process Qualification Engineer to own quality and qualification for additive manufacturing operations, developing first article inspection plans, NDE strategies, and process control documentation to enable aerospace and defense applications at scale.
What you'll do
- Own and execute first article inspection plans and qualification validation for additive hardware
- Define control plans and ensure specification compliance across powder, build, and post-processing steps
- Lead NDE inspection method development and serve as primary NDE owner for all additive processes
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action for additive builds and hardware issues
- Partner with quality and NDE teams on inspection plans, acceptance criteria, and sampling strategies
- Manage vendor relationships for powder supply, post-processing, coatings, and inspection services
