Robotics Software Engineer

About this role

Hadrian seeks a Robotics Software Engineer to design and deploy intelligent automation systems for aerospace and defense manufacturing. You'll lead software development for robotic systems across multiple factories, collaborating with hardware teams to integrate sensors, PLCs, and industrial robots into production environments.

What you'll do

• Lead software design and development for robotic automation systems in manufacturing settings
• Integrate software with hardware components including PLCs, sensors, actuators, and industrial robots
• Develop algorithms for calibration, path optimization, object detection, and collision avoidance
• Collaborate with cross-functional hardware, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams
• Test, validate, and improve deployed robotic systems with manufacturing operations
• Establish engineering quality standards and best practices through design reviews
