Equipment Maintenance Engineer
About this role
Harbinger Motors seeks an Equipment Maintenance Engineer to ensure reliability and uptime of advanced EV manufacturing equipment across battery, assembly, and motor production lines. You'll diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and automation failures while developing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
What you'll do
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation system failures across battery, assembly, EDU, and stator/hairpin lines
- Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance plans using vibration analysis, thermography, and failure analysis techniques
- Conduct root-cause analyses and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve equipment reliability and meet MTBF, MTTR, and OEE targets
- Troubleshoot and program PLCs (Siemens/Allen-Bradley) and manage industrial communication networks (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, CAN, Modbus)
- Maintain and optimize mechanical systems including transmissions, actuators, bearings, vacuum systems, pumps, and chillers
- Lead continuous improvement projects focused on efficiency, automation upgrades, and safety enhancements
