About this role
Harbinger seeks an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to define and verify high-voltage and low-voltage architectures for their commercial EV platform. You'll develop system requirements, specifications, and test plans while collaborating across powertrain, battery, safety, and software teams to ensure regulatory compliance and vehicle performance targets.
What you'll do
- Develop and document HV and LV system architectures, specifications, and electrical power budgets using Flow Engineering
- Write comprehensive requirements, fault-management strategies, and test plans for HV and LV subsystems
- Partner with Powertrain, Battery, Harness, Functional Safety, and Software teams on system integration
- Define vehicle operational power modes and manage LV power consumption across all states
- Define charging protocol logic, safety mechanisms, and AC/DC fast charging interface standards
- Ensure electrical systems meet thermal limits, vehicle targets, and regulatory standards
