Automation Engineer, Customer Education

About this role

Harvey seeks an Automation Engineer to build and maintain the technical systems powering Harvey Academy and the help center, including AI agents, automation pipelines, and content infrastructure. You'll own the end-to-end systems that scale customer education for a legal AI platform, partnering with content and product teams to replace manual processes with intelligent, scalable solutions.

What you'll do

• Design and build AI agents using LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI) to automate content creation, review, and publishing workflows
• Own and optimize the learning technology stack including Skilljar and Sanity CMS integrations for reliability and seamless publishing
• Identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks by building automation systems across content operations
• Partner with Product, User Operations, and GTM teams to identify opportunities for systems improvement and AI-driven innovation
• Support implementation of interactive learning components based on instructional design direction
• Maintain production systems end-to-end, ensuring performance and scalability
