Automation Engineer, Customer Education

About this role

Harvey seeks an Automation Engineer to build the technical infrastructure powering Harvey Academy and help center, designing AI-driven workflows and automation pipelines that scale customer education. You'll own systems spanning LLM agents, CMS integrations, and content publishing—translating strategy into production-grade solutions with high autonomy.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain AI agents using LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI) to automate content creation, review, and publishing workflows
• Own learning technology stack including Skilljar and Sanity CMS integrations for reliable content delivery
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in content operations through strategic automation
• Partner with Product, User Ops, and GTM teams on systems improvement and AI innovation opportunities
• Implement interactive learning components based on instructional design requirements
• Support production systems end-to-end with a focus on reliability and scalability

What they're looking for

• Automation engineering and API integrations (5+ years experience)
• Web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React or equivalent)
• LLM agent development and prompt engineering (Claude, OpenAI)
• LMS and CMS platform experience (Skilljar, Sanity, or similar)
• Autonomous problem-solving and technical documentation
• Cross-functional communication with non-technical stakeholders
• Content operations and documentation-heavy environment experience
• Production system support and infrastructure maintenance
