About this role
Havoc is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and integrate mechanical systems for autonomous uncrewed surface vessels. You'll lead mechanical design from concept to production, collaborate with electrical and software teams on system integration, and ensure robust, field-ready hardware solutions for marine environments.
What you'll do
- Lead mechanical design and integration of new systems, payloads, and structural components using SolidWorks CAD
- Define mechanical interfaces and support electrical integration including cable routing and connector mounting
- Participate in hardware builds, testing, and vehicle integration to validate designs
- Collaborate across mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams on subsystem integration
- Produce technical documentation including CAD drawings, bills of materials, and interface control documents
- Work with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are cost-effective, serviceable, and suitable for marine environments
