Operational Analysis and Modeling Engineer

About this role

Hermeus seeks an experienced operational analysis leader to develop simulation models and operational strategies for their hypersonic aircraft program. This role requires deep defense industry expertise and will shape the capabilities of next-generation high-speed systems for U.S. defense applications.

What you'll do

• Build and lead operational analysis and simulation programs for hypersonic aircraft development
• Create modeling frameworks to evaluate aircraft capabilities against customer requirements
• Shape operational strategies and performance metrics for defense applications
• Direct simulation efforts to inform aircraft design and capability decisions
• Collaborate with engineering teams to translate operational needs into technical requirements
• Mentor and manage simulation and analysis staff
