About this role
Hermeus seeks a Software Engineering Intern to develop modeling and simulation code for their 6DOF SITL simulation platform in Julia. You'll collaborate with Flight Software, HMI, and Flight Sciences teams to build physics-informed models and validate them against real data for high-speed aircraft systems.
What you'll do
- Develop performant modeling and simulation code in Julia for 6DOF SITL simulation
- Interface with Flight Software, HMI, and Flight Sciences teams to understand and implement requirements
- Create hardware and physics-informed software models
- Validate simulation results against real-world flight data
- Contribute to iterative prototyping and refinement of simulation systems
- Ensure accurate modeling of high-speed aircraft dynamics
