About this role

IMC Trading seeks an experienced ML and Quantitative Research Sourcer to identify and engage top technical talent across machine learning and quantitative research roles. You'll develop creative sourcing strategies, build candidate pipelines, and provide market insights to support hiring and workforce planning in Chicago.

What you'll do

  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand technical hiring needs and deliver strong candidate pipelines
  • Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies targeting experienced ML and quantitative research professionals
  • Build and maintain passive candidate pipelines across key technical markets
  • Conduct market mapping and talent landscape analysis to inform hiring strategy
  • Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Kaggle, research publications, and other technical channels to identify talent
  • Track sourcing activity, pipeline health, and market insights to support recruiting decisions

What they're looking for

  • 4-7 years of technical recruiting or sourcing experience
  • Deep understanding of machine learning, AI, and quantitative research landscapes
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Kaggle, and technical community platforms
  • Ability to build relationships with experienced technical professionals in competitive markets
  • Data-driven sourcing strategy development and execution
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent searches with high ownership
  • Bachelor's degree
