About this role

Impinj seeks an Information Security Engineer to design and manage comprehensive security infrastructure across identity, detection, and incident response. This hands-on role involves architecting security solutions, automating workflows with AI-driven tools, and collaborating across teams to align security with business objectives in a hybrid Seattle office environment.

What you'll do

  • Design and enforce identity access control, device security, data protection, firewalls, email, and SASE solutions
  • Manage vulnerability and configuration assessments across networks, endpoints, cloud platforms, and applications
  • Build and maintain detection systems including XDR, MDR, SIEM, and cloud security monitoring
  • Lead incident response and participate in on-call rotation for after-hours handling and forensics
  • Translate operational findings into security tool improvements and workflow automation
  • Manage risk registers, security awareness programs, and cross-functional alignment with IT and engineering teams
