About this role
IEM seeks a Materials Replenishment Engineer to design and implement lean material flow systems including Kanban, JIT, and visual replenishment strategies. This role bridges Production, Supply Chain, and Fabrication teams to optimize inventory management and drive continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
What you'll do
- Design and implement lean material replenishment systems including Kanban, PFEP, JIT, and visual strategies
- Develop point-of-use inventory solutions to reduce material travel and downtime
- Collaborate across Production, Fabrication, Planning, and Warehouse teams on material delivery alignment
- Improve part staging and kitting processes while ensuring ERP accuracy and cycle count integrity
- Lead kaizen events and process reviews to identify gaps and standardize operations
- Train personnel on lean material systems and develop visual management tools
