About this role
IEM seeks a Test Engineer to design and execute comprehensive test procedures for electrical distribution systems, ensuring product quality through functional testing, data analysis, and troubleshooting. The role involves collaborating with engineering teams, improving test processes, and supporting factory witness testing events.
What you'll do
- Design and develop test procedures, protocols, and technical documentation for electrical products
- Execute functional and electrical testing, including relay protection and trip function validation
- Analyze test data to identify trends, root causes, and performance issues
- Troubleshoot wiring errors, component failures, and control logic problems with production teams
- Support factory witness testing (FWT) with technical demonstrations and customer support
- Recommend and evaluate new test technologies to improve accuracy and efficiency
