About this role
Inversion is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to own the integration and testing of critical subsystems for the Arc hypersonic reentry vehicle. You'll translate engineering designs into production-ready assembly procedures, manage physical integration on the floor, and collaborate with engineers and technicians to deliver flight-qualified hardware.
What you'll do
- Develop build sequences, assembly procedures, and floor tooling for Arc vehicle subsystems
- Execute physical integration and testing of flight hardware components
- Troubleshoot hardware anomalies in real-time during integration
- Work cross-functionally with design engineers and floor technicians
- Ensure flight hardware meets quality standards and schedule milestones
- Transition designs from engineering team to the integration floor
