IT Security Engineer

About this role

Jane Street seeks an IT Security Engineer to design and implement security controls across their global Windows platforms and remote infrastructure. You'll combine hands-on technical expertise with strategic guidance to prioritize remediation efforts and drive security automation at scale.

What you'll do

• Design, test, implement, and document strategic security controls for Windows platforms
• Investigate emerging threats and develop vulnerability management initiatives
• Coordinate security solutions across IT infrastructure while identifying automation opportunities
• Provide technical advice and security guidance to the wider IT engineering team
• Build scalable security controls and develop new security tooling
• Monitor and secure computing environments across multiple continents
