About this role

Jaan Health seeks a Software Engineer to design and build scalable healthcare cloud solutions focused on data interoperability and care management. You'll develop secure backend systems, healthcare data pipelines, and integrations using modern cloud technologies while working with healthcare standards like FHIR and HL7.

What you'll do

  • Design and optimize healthcare data ingestion, exchange workflows, and integrations with EHRs and health systems
  • Build and maintain large-scale data pipelines using Apache Airflow and Google Cloud Composer
  • Develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Python and Ruby on Rails
  • Work with FHIR resources, HL7 messaging, and Google Cloud Healthcare API
  • Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and healthcare stakeholders on technical solutions
  • Participate in architectural decisions and contribute to platform evolution
