IT Systems Engineer
About this role
Kikoff is seeking its first dedicated Systems Engineer to build and manage corporate IT infrastructure, identity systems, and AI-powered internal tooling. You'll own the SaaS stack, device management, endpoint security, and automation workflows while working alongside engineering and security teams at a profitable fintech startup.
What you'll do
- Manage and evolve corporate SaaS infrastructure including Okta, Google Workspace, and Slack with procurement and lifecycle management
- Operate MDM stack (Rippling/Jamf/Kandji) and enforce device trust policies to maintain endpoint security baselines
- Build and maintain MCP servers and AI agents to automate internal operations and security workflows
- Configure and manage macOS and Windows fleet endpoints with hardening profiles, patch management, and CIS benchmark enforcement
- Automate security tasks including access reviews, alert triage, onboarding/offboarding, and posture checks
- Provide technical ownership of corporate identity foundation and device trust architecture

- macOS administration with shell/Python scripting and configuration profiles
- MDM platform hands-on experience (Rippling, Jamf, or Kandji)
- Okta identity and device trust administration
- Bash and Python scripting for automation and tooling
- SaaS stack management and vendor governance
- AI tool proficiency (Claude, Cursor, or similar)
- Security concepts including zero trust, least privilege, and device trust architectures
