Hardware Quality Industrialization Engineer

About this role

Kodiak Robotics seeks an experienced Hardware Quality Industrialization Engineer to establish and lead the quality function for their growing autonomous vehicle manufacturing operation. As a founding quality team member, you'll develop data-driven processes, manage supplier relationships, and ensure compliance across their hardware supply chain.

What you'll do

• Build repeatable quality processes across internal teams and external manufacturing partners
• Evaluate and audit suppliers to verify compliance with Kodiak standards and requirements
• Conduct root cause analysis on field returns and drive corrective actions
• Establish test parameters, pass/fail criteria, and testing strategies with internal teams
• Manage supply verticals such as PCBAs and harnesses throughout the production lifecycle
• Ensure external partners meet compliance and certification requirements

• Quality engineering and supplier quality management
• Statistical quality control and analysis
• Problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 whys, fishbone diagrams)
• Supplier evaluation and management
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or autonomous vehicles
• Cross-functional stakeholder collaboration
• Project prioritization and execution
