Electrical Engineer - Power Systems Engineer

Join a cross-functional engineering team designing and developing advanced undersea communication and power systems. This role combines circuit design, high-voltage DC power electronics, and hands-on lab work with opportunities to mentor junior engineers and drive innovation in mission-critical applications.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and test undersea communication and power systems
• Lead high-voltage DC power module design ranging from watts to kilowatt+ converters
• Perform circuit design, mixed-signal analysis, and board-level troubleshooting
• Conduct Worst Case Circuit Analysis and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis
• Develop specifications, requirements, and verification procedures for electronic systems
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers while staying current with technology trends

What they're looking for

• Electrical engineering principles and circuit design
• High-voltage DC power systems and power electronics
• CAD tools and mixed-signal circuit analysis
• Lab equipment operation (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power meters)
• Troubleshooting and testing at board and module level
• Fiber optics (preferred)
• Analog design and instrumentation
• DoD systems and standards (preferred)
