Full Stack Engineer, Foundation

About this role

LaunchDarkly is seeking a Full Stack Engineer for the Foundation team to build the next generation of developer onboarding using AI agents and MCP servers. You'll own the entire journey from signup through first production flag, driving product-led growth metrics through experimentation and shipping agentic features that integrate with developers' existing tools.

What you'll do

• Drive features end-to-end from problem definition through implementation, instrumentation, and experimentation with clear ties to PLG metrics
• Build agentic onboarding flows that work in IDEs and integrate with MCP servers to get customers to their first production flag on day one
• Instrument and optimize the growth funnel across signup, activation, first flag, first experiment, and paid conversion stages
• Ship MCP server capabilities and agent skills that extend LaunchDarkly into developer tools
• Partner with product, design, and data teams to translate customer signal into shippable experiments
• Iterate in small increments using LaunchDarkly's own flags and experimentation platform

• Full stack development across frontend and backend
• Experience building on MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers
• Understanding of AI/LLM capabilities and constraints in product design
• Product-led growth and funnel optimization
• Data instrumentation and experimentation methodology
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams (product, design, data)
• API design and integration
• Comfortable with rapid iteration and shipping
