About this role

LaunchDarkly seeks a Full Stack Engineer for the Guardian Monitoring team, which provides a safety layer for software releases through real-time monitoring, regression detection, and automated rollbacks. You'll build backend services that analyze telemetry data and frontend interfaces that help teams confidently manage continuous deployments.

What you'll do

  • Design and ship full-stack features across Guardian's monitoring platform (UI, APIs, backend services, data pipelines)
  • Own features end-to-end from prototype through production rollout and iteration
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and adjacent teams
  • Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews
  • Write well-tested, maintainable code and promote reliability best practices
  • Participate in on-call rotations and maintain production reliability

  • Full-stack software engineering (5+ years professional experience)
  • TypeScript and React for frontend development
  • Go or similar languages for backend development
  • Product thinking and translating requirements into solutions
