About this role

LVT seeks a Sensor Integration Engineer II to own the setup, configuration, testing, and validation of advanced camera and sensor systems for intelligent site technology platforms. You'll lead qualification of PTZ cameras, radar, thermal detection, and field-of-view analysis while building scalable QA processes and mentoring junior technicians in this in-office American Fork role.

What you'll do

  • Set up, configure, and integrate camera and sensor systems including PTZ, thermal, and radar across hardware platforms
  • Lead hands-on testing and qualification of sensors under operational conditions, troubleshooting failures and documenting root causes
  • Build and execute structured QA processes with comprehensive test plans and test cases that scale across products
  • Validate camera performance in real-world conditions including field of view, image quality, detection range, and night performance
  • Mentor junior technicians on camera configuration, testing methodology, and technical problem-solving
  • Collaborate with Hardware Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to move products through development and resolve sensor-level issues
