Electronics Design Engineer
About this role
Lunar Energy seeks an Electronics Design Engineer to develop circuit boards for next-generation home energy storage systems. You'll own PCB designs from concept through production, collaborating across mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams in a clean energy-focused company.
What you'll do
- Design and develop digital and analog electronics, including small power supplies for home energy systems
- Create PCB designs for communication buses (CAN, Ethernet, RS-485, USB, SPI, I2C) with hands-on debugging
- Select and design analog sensors and signal conditioning circuits
- Perform board bring-up, debug, and validation testing
- Manage circuit board electronics from specification through prototype, validation, and manufacturing
- Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, EMC, RF, thermal, compliance, and manufacturing teams

- High-speed signal design (DDR, eMMC, Ethernet, USB)
- ECAD tools (Altium or equivalent)
