PCB Layout Engineer

About this role

Lunar Energy seeks an experienced PCB Layout Engineer to design circuit boards for next-generation home energy storage systems. You'll handle full board layouts from concept through production, working with high-speed, high-voltage designs while collaborating across engineering disciplines.

What you'll do

• Design and layout mixed-signal PCBs including thru-hole, SMT, and high-speed/high-voltage boards
• Create library parts and component footprints for new components as needed
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers on optimal part placement and design trade-offs
• Generate manufacturing output files including gerbers, BOMs, assembly documentation, and stackup specifications
• Address signal integrity, power integrity, thermal, and manufacturability concerns at the board level
• Drive projects to completion while ensuring design qualifications meet timelines

• Altium Designer proficiency
• 5+ years PCB layout and design experience
• Power supply and switching regulator design
• PCB materials knowledge and stackup development
• IPC specifications and design for manufacturability
• Signal and power integrity analysis
• Cross-functional collaboration and communication
• High-voltage and high-power circuit design
