About this role
Elveo seeks an IT Infrastructure & Systems Administrator to manage core infrastructure supporting satellite communications operations across Maryland and Virginia offices. The role focuses on Microsoft identity and endpoint management, network administration, and compliance with CMMC Level 2 and NIST security standards.
What you'll do
- Administer Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Conditional Access, and endpoint security tools (ESET, Microsoft Defender)
- Design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN, VPN, firewall, DNS/DHCP, and wireless infrastructure across multiple locations
- Monitor and remediate endpoint compliance drift to meet NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC Level 2 requirements
- Manage server infrastructure provisioning, patching, backup, and lifecycle; lead incident response and root-cause analysis
- Support onboarding/offboarding, device provisioning, and escalation point for end-user technical issues
- Partner with security/compliance teams on System Security Plans, POA&Ms, and audit readiness for CMMC assessments
