About this role
Mach Industries is looking for a Flight Software Engineer to develop embedded, safety-critical software for aerospace and defense systems. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in C and C++, with experience in real-time systems, and will collaborate with various engineering teams to enhance the functionality of autonomous platforms.
What you'll do
- Design and implement real-time, safety-critical flight software in C, C++, and Rust
- Engineer efficient embedded software focusing on resource constraints
- Collaborate with hardware and systems engineers on software integration
- Develop and execute rigorous testing methodologies for flight software
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle of flight-critical software
