GNC Engineer, Modeling & Simulation

About this role

Mach Industries is on the lookout for a GNC Engineer specialized in Modeling & Simulation to create and maintain high-fidelity aircraft simulation environments. This role requires a strong background in physics-based modeling and software development to ensure precise navigation and control in autonomous systems.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain flight dynamics and vehicle simulation models.
• Implement equations of motion using C++ and Python.
• Collaborate with aerodynamicists to integrate aerodynamic models.
• Perform system identification and parameter estimation.
• Build and sustain simulation infrastructure for verification and validation.
• Create logging frameworks and automated validation tools.

What they're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
• 3+ years in navigation or simulation systems
• Proficiency in C++ and Python
• Experience with Git and Jira
• Knowledge of CI/CD strategies
• Strong software design understanding for simulations
