Propulsion Mechanical Design Engineer

About this role

Mach Industries is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer for their new Mach Propulsion division to help develop a high-performance small turbine engine. This role involves hands-on engineering tasks and requires experience in propulsion systems and software like Siemens NX.

What you'll do

• Design turbojet engine components and subsystems using CAD tools.
• Participate in the full lifecycle of product development from concept to testing.
• Collaborate with fabrication and testing teams for project completion.

What they're looking for

• BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• 1+ years of mechanical engineering experience
• Proficiency in Siemens NX
• Knowledge of ASME Y14.5
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
• Experience with prototyping and testing
• Comfortable in shop and lab environments
