Mach Industries is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in Localization to develop advanced navigation and sensor-fusion algorithms for defense technology. The ideal candidate will contribute to real-world applications of AI-driven solutions in challenging environments.
What you'll do
- Design and implement navigation features using production C++.
- Create measurement models from various sensor detections.
- Stabilize GNSS to VIO handover processes.
- Optimize real-time software performance on embedded systems.
- Oversee sensor calibration and time synchronization.
- Develop evaluation pipelines for performance metrics.
What they're looking for
- Proficiency in modern C++ and Python
- Experience with SLAM and state estimation techniques
- Knowledge of vision-based systems (VIO/SLAM)
- Sensor integration skills (IMU, GNSS, LiDAR)
- Research-to-production delivery experience
- Strong debugging and profiling skills
- Familiarity with CUDA/TensorRT (preferred)
- Exposure to ROS 2 and embedded systems
