Forward Deployed Engineer

About this role

Machina Labs seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to support the deployment and optimization of intelligent, software-defined manufacturing systems for defense and aerospace customers. You'll work directly with clients to implement advanced metal forming and robotic production systems that accelerate manufacturing from prototype to production.

What you'll do

• Deploy and commission software-defined factory systems at customer sites
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing equipment and processes
• Collaborate with customers to optimize production workflows and resolve operational challenges
• Gather field feedback and document issues for engineering team improvement
• Train customer personnel on system operation and maintenance
• Support integration of robotic and metal forming technologies with customer infrastructure
