About this role

Mercor seeks a Cloud Platform Engineer to design and operate their identity and infrastructure layer as code. You'll manage Okta, cloud IAM across AWS/GCP/Azure, Terraform automation, and employee lifecycle provisioning while scaling from hundreds to thousands of employees.

What you'll do

  • Own and operationalize Okta identity infrastructure using Terraform, replacing manual console configuration
  • Design and implement SCIM integrations to automate user provisioning and deprovisioning across the SaaS stack
  • Plan and architect identity systems and access models to support organizational growth and scale
  • Manage cloud account structure, IAM roles, and least-privilege permissions across multiple cloud providers
  • Build Terraform automation to eliminate manual work in employee onboarding, offboarding, and infrastructure management
  • Design secrets management, key rotation, and service-account lifecycle with documentation and runbooks
