About this role
Build core backend systems for Mercor's AI data platform, focusing on contracts infrastructure and identity/access management. You'll develop secure, scalable systems that enable expert workforce operations and platform reliability in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
What you'll do
- Develop backend infrastructure for contract workflows, payouts, and fraud prevention systems
- Design and maintain identity and access provisioning systems across the platform
- Build foundational platform services that support complex operational needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into reliable backend solutions
- Improve security, reliability, and developer experience across core platform systems
- Take high ownership of critical backend problems that impact multiple business areas
