Neros seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to lead production operations for high-performance drone systems, working hands-on at the assembly line to optimize processes, troubleshoot equipment failures, and drive quality improvements from design through scaled manufacturing.

What you'll do

  • Serve as first technical responder for line downtime and equipment issues; diagnose and restore production quickly
  • Own work instructions, process documentation, and standard work for assigned manufacturing stations
  • Design and iterate fixtures, tooling, and jigs to improve repeatability, cycle time, and station efficiency
  • Lead root cause analysis on recurring defects and drive corrective actions to closure with quality team
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) with process planning, station setup, and first article validation
  • Define and track station-level KPIs (yield, cycle time, downtime) to prioritize improvements

  • Manufacturing or process engineering (2+ years production floor experience)
  • Line troubleshooting and equipment diagnostics
  • Root cause analysis and corrective action (RCCA/8D methodology)
  • Fixture and tooling design with CAD (SolidWorks or equivalent)
  • Work instruction creation and change control (ECR/ECO)
  • Lean manufacturing fundamentals (cycle time, takt time, line balancing)
  • Process capability and first article inspection
  • Cross-functional communication with technicians, engineers, and leadership
