About this role
Neros seeks a Manufacturing Hardware Test Engineer to design and execute test strategies for unmanned drone systems, from prototype bring-up through full-scale production. You'll own critical testing infrastructure, drive design-for-test initiatives, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure product reliability and rapid deployment in a fast-paced defense technology startup.
What you'll do
- Design and implement modular, repeatable test hardware systems for drone products
- Prototype, debug, and characterize test instruments while supporting manufacturing test bring-up
- Develop and optimize test strategies using GRR, Process Capability Analysis, and FMEA methodologies
- Perform root cause analysis of manufacturing defects and implement corrective solutions
- Drive Design-for-Test (DFT) improvements and manage full lifecycle of test system procurement through commissioning
- Analyze test data and collaborate with design teams to resolve product issues and field failures
