About this role
Neuralink is seeking a Software Engineer for ASIC development to enhance the infrastructure supporting brain-computer interface technologies. The role involves creating scalable systems for chip design and optimizing tools that facilitate neural data management.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain EDA compute infrastructure for chip design
- Develop simulation clusters for circuit verification
- Manage and optimize EDA vendor license infrastructure
- Architect storage solutions for design data
- Develop firmware build-system infrastructure for ASICs
- Automate server provisioning and lifecycle management

- Experience with EDA tools (Cadence, Synopsys)
- Knowledge of license server administration (FlexLM)
- Familiarity with Rust, Go, or C/C++
- Experience with high-performance Linux storage
- Systems administration on RHEL and Ubuntu
- Understanding of distributed compute frameworks
- Experience with bare-metal provisioning
- Familiarity with cloud deployments
