Numeral is seeking a Software Engineer for their Infrastructure team to develop and maintain scalable and reliable systems for their rapidly growing AI-driven tax platform. The role involves designing core infrastructure, enhancing service reliability, and driving improvements in system performance.

What you'll do

• Design and build scalable and reliable infrastructure
• Lead infrastructure architecture decisions for performance
• Drive improvements in system reliability and incident response
• Collaborate with engineering teams for rapid development
• Automate infrastructure management with CI/CD and container tools
• Promote best practices in operational excellence

What they're looking for

• 7+ years in backend or infrastructure systems
• Proficient in Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS
• Experience with Kubernetes and container management
• Knowledge of observability tools like Datadog
• Ability to design fault-tolerant distributed systems
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
