Associate Structural Engineer

About this role

Olsson is looking for an Associate Structural Engineer to support federal projects through structural design and analysis. The candidate will work with experienced engineers while gaining hands-on experience with federal standards and impactful projects.

What you'll do

• Assist in structural design for federal engineering projects
• Produce basic structural plans and details
• Utilize structural design software like Revit and Risa
• Aid in project scheduling and construction document preparation
• Coordinate with senior engineers for compliance with standards
• Mentor student interns in basic structural engineering skills

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or architectural engineering
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification
• Knowledge of structural engineering technologies
