About this role
Olsson is searching for a Project Electrical Engineer to join their Federal Engineering & Design Team. This remote position focuses on delivering electrical designs that meet federal standards while allowing for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and mentorship of junior staff.
What you'll do
- Design electrical systems for federal projects, including power distribution and lighting.
- Prepare electrical calculations, drawings, and technical reports according to federal codes.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality project outcomes.
- Support project planning and monitor progress with project managers.
- Participate in site inspections and provide technical support during installations.

- Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience in electrical design for federal clients
- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of DoD and VA design standards
