About this role

OnePay seeks a senior Analytics Engineer to build and own the data foundation (dbt models, testing, semantic layer) on Databricks. You'll set technical standards, mentor the team, and enable fast, trustworthy decision-making across a fast-moving fintech platform backed by Walmart and Ribbit Capital.

What you'll do

  • Design and maintain production dbt models on Databricks as the organization's single source of truth
  • Own data quality through testing, CI/CD pipelines, documentation, and team standards
  • Build and evolve Databricks BI dashboards and semantic metrics for self-service analytics
  • Lead technically via code review, architecture decisions, and mentoring of junior analytics engineers
  • Partner with Data Engineering and stakeholders to translate business problems into durable data products
  • Drive AI-native development workflows using Cursor/Claude and design models for both human and LLM consumption
