Backend Engineer, Crypto

About this role

OnePay is seeking a Backend Engineer for its Crypto team to design and maintain backend services that support safe digital asset transactions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in backend development, particularly with L2 blockchains, and will contribute to the scalability and resilience of the platform's financial services.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain backend services for crypto products
• Design APIs and event-driven architectures for secure transaction processing
• Collaborate with platform and infrastructure engineers for system resilience
• Enhance documentation, tooling, and best practices across engineering

• 5+ years in backend or distributed systems development
• Experience with L2 blockchains
• Building production-grade APIs
• Proficiency in Node.js or similar languages
• Familiarity with cloud-native architecture
