Software Engineer, Cash Advance

About this role

OnePay is seeking a Software Engineer to build cash advance features on a remote-first fintech platform backed by Walmart. You'll design scalable, mobile-first financial products while working with a fast-moving team on sensitive, real-time transactions.

What you'll do

• Design and deliver mobile and backend features for cash advance products that scale with growing customer base
• Collaborate with engineers to ship high-quality code and solve complex problems unique to lending products
• Build and maintain clear technical documentation for a distributed remote team
• Handle sensitive financial data, real-time processing, and compliance requirements at scale
• Contribute to both client-side (React Native) and server-side (Node/TypeScript) development
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions within microservice architecture
