Software Engineer

About this role

Rhombus Power seeks an experienced Software Engineer to design and develop backend systems and full-stack solutions for AI-powered defense intelligence platforms. You'll lead technical initiatives, collaborate across teams, and own end-to-end product implementation in a startup environment serving national security organizations.

What you'll do

• Design and develop scalable backend systems and APIs/GraphQL with strong performance focus
• Implement React front-end components and Node.js back-end services for web applications
• Lead code reviews, technical documentation, and establish SDLC standards and processes
• Collaborate with product, UX/UI, and front-end teams to translate requirements into solutions
• Implement automated testing, CI/CD practices, and initiatives to improve code quality
• Conduct user training sessions and gather client feedback to refine the AI platform
