About this role

OpenAI seeks a Security Engineer to build and operate detection and response systems focused on insider threat prevention. You'll develop detection rules, automate investigation workflows, and partner across teams to protect sensitive AI infrastructure and assets.

  • Partner with HR, Legal, and investigative teams to support security investigations
  • Collaborate on AI-driven improvements to security posture
  • Manage projects independently while balancing security controls with user experience
