About this role
Scout Motors is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to oversee quality planning and execution across the supplier base, ensuring manufacturing and assembly processes meet standards from development through production. You'll apply APQP and VDA quality management methodologies to support the delivery of Scout's innovative electric and range-extended pickup trucks and SUVs.
What you'll do
- Support supplier quality planning and execution of manufacturing and assembly techniques using APQP and VDA processes
- Monitor and enforce quality performance and functional standards across the supply chain
- Ensure all vehicle quality activities meet requirements to support customer satisfaction
- Manage supplier quality oversight from advanced development through mass production phases
- Conduct quality assessments and audits of supplier manufacturing processes
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement
