About this role

OpenAI seeks a full-stack engineer to design and build native learning experiences within ChatGPT, helping enterprise users develop AI skills through adaptive, hands-on practice. This 0-to-1 product role requires setting technical direction, owning end-to-end experiences from prototype to production, and integrating learner state, content, telemetry, and evaluation systems.

What you'll do

  • Own the vision and full-stack execution of OpenAI's native learning product offering
  • Design core systems for learner state, progress tracking, content integration, experimentation, and evaluation
  • Build and launch end-to-end product experiences with clear entry points, hands-on practice, and feedback mechanisms
  • Create reusable components and internal tools for education partners to develop and configure learning experiences
  • Partner across teams to translate learning science into product requirements, prototypes, and metrics
  • Use product data and user feedback to iteratively refine experiences and measure learning transfer to real work
