About this role
Manufacturing Engineer I will develop and implement manufacturing solutions that bring new products to market while driving continuous improvement on the production floor. The role involves cross-functional problem-solving, process optimization, equipment qualification, and documentation within a regulated medical device environment.
What you'll do
- Execute root cause analysis and implement innovative solutions to manufacturing problems
- Design and implement fixtures, tooling, and equipment on production lines; perform equipment qualifications
- Develop, optimize, and validate manufacturing processes using statistical techniques and engineering knowledge
- Create and maintain product and process documentation; monitor equipment and process performance
- Conduct testing protocols, process validations, and author technical reports with recommendations
- Train production staff and technicians on processes, equipment, and documentation
