Product Developer

About this role

As a Product Developer at Perry Ellis International, you will manage the development of Nike swim apparel and gear, collaborating with various teams to ensure product quality and timely delivery. Your role involves maintaining records, overseeing communication with suppliers, and assisting in packaging and labeling development.

What you'll do

• Coordinate swim development with internal teams and external suppliers
• Maintain development documentation and color standards
• Review lab dips, trims, and prints with the team
• Manage the sampling process and ensure timely follow-ups
• Review production samples for accuracy before buy decisions
• Support packaging and hangtag development

• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience working with global vendors
• Understanding of the product creation process
• Superior color discrimination skills
• Proactive, adaptable team player
• Knowledge of PLM and related software
• Experience in materials and trims in apparel development
