Security Engineer, Enterprise

Persona is seeking a Security Engineer to join their enterprise security team in San Francisco. The role involves protecting identity verification systems by developing security tools, implementing best practices, and responding to threats in a rapidly growing environment.

What you'll do

• Develop and operate endpoint detection and response (EDR) rules across macOS
• Collaborate with TechOps on security practices for SaaS and endpoint environments
• Build automation tools for scaling security controls
• Enhance corporate infrastructure against attacks
• Translate telemetry data into security recommendations
• Manage insider threat detection programs

What they're looking for

• 3+ years in IT security or related roles
• Hands-on experience with macOS and EDR tools
• Endpoint hardening expertise
• Knowledge of DLP and insider threat concepts
• Email security and social engineering defense skills
• Scripting skills in Python, Ruby, or Bash
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in high-growth environments
